GOOD NEIGHBOR COMMITMENT
We are dedicated to benefitting local communities and advancing innovative solutions to global environmental challenges. Part of that commitment includes the support provided by our Stakeholder Relations team. We will act as a resource to you now and throughout the project's life.
Our Stakeholder Relations team is diligent to making sure local advocacy, education, charity, and community engagement stay at the forefront of all 1PointFive projects. In March 2024, we did a door-to-door to homes near the project location to describe upcoming operations. Since then, we have continued to communicate closely with the community. We are here every step of the way, from start to finish and everywhere in between.

COMMUNITY INVESTMENT
We seek to strengthen economies where we operate through our local hiring, investments in our operations and infrastructure, and contributions to non-profit organizations that help communities to develop and thrive. That means taking time to listen to local leaders and neighbors, understand the regions where we operate, and engage in partnerships that address community needs and create economic opportunity and inclusive social development.
By investing our time and resources in programs and initiatives that support the areas surrounding our operations where our employees live and work, we seek to advance our relationships with neighboring communities and promote mutually beneficial outcomes.
We’ve been working with organizations to support the local community, such as Kleberg and Nueces County Libraries, Wish for Wheels, and Local Community Leaders.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
During construction, we estimate thousands of people will be hired for various aspects of the build. The construction and operation of a DAC facility requires a wide range of skill sets. Our workforce development plans in the area have been created to ensure local communities have the skills necessary to benefit from this development. During operations, we anticipate that hundreds of permanent jobs could be created.
COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD
One way to build productive two-way engagement is through the creation of a Community Advisory Board (CAB) made up of individuals with a diverse set of views that represent the community. Additional information regarding the Community Advisory Board will become available at a future date. If you would like to stay up-to-date on the development of the Community Advisory Board, please contact stakeholder@1pointfive.com to be added to our CAB distribution list.
